August 2010: Some Intele-History

On August the 6th 1991 (exactly 19 years ago) we conducted our first commercial, professional appointment setting campaign for a company known then as, Aspen Direct. We were asked to make appointments with the financial services sector ...whilst we were in recession!

The DM spend of all financial services businesses had been slashed to nothing and all companies in that sector were very quiet.

Creating the right collaborative strategy with our client and delivering a staggering 17.6% DMC conversion to appointment rate, the campaign was a complete success. Our MD was approached by the client to form a specialist appointment making company, because it was clear we knew what we were doing.

Nothing has changed. When clients work closely with us, they gain a high level of satisfaction from our results, that are consistent and sustainable. We grow long term relationships. Today, We are still in contact with the client, 19 years on.




July 2010: In House Vs Agency

A lot of companies we speak to think that in-house or home-based telemarketing are more cost effective than using traditional telemarketing agencies. However, our experience in the industry has shown this to not be the case on a number of occasions.

In the education sector, we have found good home workers to typically produce an average of 20 appointments per week, where Intelemarketing's professionally trained executives consistently achieve an average of 30-40 appointments. One example of the good work of a dedicated agency team comes from our experience with an educational software provider - our executives constantly exceeded the results of their in-house team by 66%. This is because we understand the market, how it works and how to identify when to call to maximise opportunities for our clients sales teams.

June 2010: Doubling Turnovers

One client has told us this month that we increased their turnover by 100%, doubling their turnover. Our sights are firmly set on increasing this figure even further for them.

The office has been a hive of 'World Cup' related activity this month. Not just for fun though, we held various internal fundraisers to support some selected local charities too.

June was also the month that Intelemarketing joined the social networking revolution, by becoming part of the 'Twitter' community. Follow us here.

March/April 2010: Sweet Smell of Success!

We are growing...

There´s just not enough room here at Intelemarketing! The continuing success of our contracts has enabled us to expand into another satellite office within Newbury. Now we´re able to deal with even more satisfied customers and continue our growing conversion rates, we´ve been proven to be up to 1,700% more effective than other agencies thanks to our dedication and focus on key decision makers..

January/February 2010: Well Done Intelemarketing!

The snow caused a lot of disruptions to businesses, but not enough for us.

Whilst Britain came to a grinding halt over recent weeks due to the arctic like weather conditions, the snow didn't stop the team at Intelemarketing from performing above and beyond expectations. In just five weeks, the team made an impressive, 1939 appointments and 3127 leads for clients.

There has also been a record number of new enquiries, from companies looking to target new prospects. The team is growing ever larger (...as is our client base). December 2009: It´s Our Birthday!

December saw the year anniversary of Intelemarketing´s relaunch. The year has flown by.

As this time of year is the season of goodwill, Managing Director, Colin Godfrey donated a generous sum of money to a local charity, as chosen by the whole team at Intelemarketing. October/November 2009: The Sun in Still Shining

Whilst the rain and the cold might be sweeping its way across most of the UK, the sun is still shining in the offices of Intelemarketing. We had a record breaker in the team, who acheived an amazing 52 appointments in one week - making the recipient of our 'Performer of the Month' award, a rather easy decision.

As well as another fund-raising day for 'Children In Need', we had reporters and photographers in to help us tell the people of West Berkshire about our recent successes, in the NWN Business Yearbook - look for us on page 33.




September 2009: Manager raises hundreds for Cancer Research

Congratulations to Marc (one of Intelemarketing´s managers), who ran 10k yesterday (27th September) to raise money for Cancer Research. Although the hilly terrain and unexpectedly hot sun did not quite match the conditions that he trained in, his time came in at an impressive 1 hour and 3 minutes. The total amount raised was £598 (and growing). Well done that man!




July/August 2009: Staff Satisfaction

As part of our commitment to maintaining high levels of staff satisfaction, we have recently published the results of our 2009 Staff Satisfaction survey.

When asked for 3 words to describe working at Intelemarketing, the following words were the most popular: "Enjoyable", "Challenging", "Learning New Skills", "Happy", "Approachable", "Like a Family".

Then when asked what the staff like about working here, we were pleased to find out the following: "Great staff, from telemarketing agents through to the Managing Director", "Friendly atmosphere", "Real sense of Team work".

June 2009: How Do They Do That?

At various meetings we have been on recently, people have been so impressed by our metrics and outstanding results, we are constantly asked: "How do you get so many appointments?".

Apart from having an excellent team, full of capable and strong team players, with constant support and training to make sure our client´s message is delivered to highest standard, we have also made an interesting discovery that we'd like to share...

Our reports, from one particular campaign, show that the average number of calls it takes to make an appointment, is 25. We have telemarketing executives that are making up 300 calls a day. That means they can make up to 12 appointments a day!

That's how they do it!




April/May 2009: Busy, busy, busy

April is always a busy time of the year, what with lots of business´s year-end deadlines. The staff at Intelemarketing made no exception to this rule, by making just over 62,000 phone calls in April.

Compared to this time last year, we have grown by 20%, and in the last two months alone, we have taken on 7 new clients, all who have come from word of mouth recommendation.

Busy is never a bad thing.




March 2009: Intelemarketing Raise Money for Comic Relief

"If only we had a pound for every appointment we made!" Well, Intelemarketing did just that on Friday 13th March. The amount of money raised, worked out as £1 for each appointment we made that day.

The total amount raised stands at just over £100. Fund raising activites included a 'Dress Down Day', 'A Celebrity Prizedraw' and a popular 'Cake Sale'.

Marc Godfrey, one of Intelemarketing´s Managers, who organised the day's events said: "I am absolutely thrilled with the amount of money we raised, and the enthusiasm and creativity of the team. Friday was a really fun day, trying to raise as much as we could for such a important cause."

January/February 2009: A New Year, A New Set of Opportunities

After only a month into 2009, Intelemarketing can proudly report yet more successes across the board on all campaigns.

Whilst some companies are feeling the pinch and making cut backs, Intelemarketing are still finding the valuable opportunities that clients need to keep them going through these difficult economic times.

January gave us 1,372 new business opportunities created over the telephone, across 8 individual campaigns. Our client´s prospects are looking fruitful.

The start of 2009 isn't looking as bleak as the media are suggesting.

December 2009: Intelemarketing Sponsor Beauty and the Beast

Shining Lights presents Beauty and the Beast. On 20th - 21st January 2009 the Shining Lights Youth Theatre, a voluntary organisation supporting talent in Berkshire, will be performing this fairy-tale thriller.

Welcome to Intelemarketing

On Monday 8th December 2008 CGA Ltd relaunched as Intelemarketing Ltd. Whilst still offering the same professional service and high-quality results, the new brand is a chance to clarify the business and consolidate our propositions.
